The story of Russian Sanctions being lifted, Oleg Deripaska, millions going into Kentucky, David Vitter's wife getting a Court post, all connected to McConnell will MEAN NOTHING to the poor and uneducated in Kentucky.

(12,165 posts)to peel off conservative votes. But then I discovered that Kentucky has a runoff election when a candidate doesn't have more than 50 percent of the votes.
That's the same situation in Georgia. While democratic candidates can get a majority, a runoff is held against the democrat. The GOP does a better job with turnout for general and, especially, runoffs. Democratic turnout is increasing, but we have a ways to go.
I don't know what the situation is on the ground in Kentucky.
