“dumb wars,” as they aptly but kindly describe them. We need a strong independent thinker with values we have seen and so can trust in this increasingly dangerous international playing field. Someone who is willing to buck popular trends and think for himself. I think Joe’s s great guy, no doubt, but I don’t see him having excellent independent judgment.... maybe I don’t know enough about him, but I remember how he certainly went along with the boys in the critically important Anita Hill situation, and that had a major impact on the country.
