John Hickenlooper: Start impeachment inquiry now

After Robert Mueller’s press conference yesterday, there’s no debate: We must take the investigation into the president’s dealings with Russia to the next level—by starting impeachment inquiry now.

I didn’t jump to this conclusion quickly—I’ve always said I wanted to hear what Robert Mueller had to say first. And yesterday, we watched him refuse to clear Donald Trump of the very serious allegations he faces.

Today on CNN New Day I emphasized this: Congress has a clear responsibility to act. We cannot leave unanswered the question of whether or not the President of the United States committed a crime.

For the sake of protecting our Constitution and the future of our nation, the next occupant of the Oval Office needs to be prepared to hold the current occupant accountable. I’m ready to lead that charge.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
