Liz Warren gets short end of the stick in first debate

How stupid can the DNC be? Either they do not want to see Liz Warren as the nominee or they are plain idiots. They stack the 2nd night with 4 out of 5 top polling candidates and stick Liz with the candidates that are polling at 1 or 2% in the polls. If I was Liz or anyone with her campaign I would be furious. The random drawing was a bad idea.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

She's the draw to that debate. I would have liked to see Pete and Sanders square off against her - but the primary is 51 weeks away. Anything can happen between now and next June - might be the only chance for those of us in low value primary states to see them all.

We are near the end. Generally we are ignored during the Primary. Can you blame the Candidates?

I want to change that for 2024 but my focus until November is securing our two Democratic Assembly members and getting two more Democratic Party members on the Council of our County Seat. I'm an elected Democratic Committee Member so I was voted in by other Democratics in my town to make these things happen.

There is a lot of anger in my precinct at the rest of the country because of the punitive SALT cap. Red/Blue they hate you. *smdh*

They deserve it, none of the he's a good guy, she's a good woman stuff with them, if they are still members of that party something is wrong with them. Good luck. Senator Warren drew all aces for the first debate. She want have to deal with Bernie going after Joe and vice versa. She can drive her ideas home bigtime. I don't think there is anyone in that first night that can debate with her.

The person that got screwed? Mayor Buttigieg. He would have been more advantaged to be debating Liz (in her group).

Jun 2019

- The debates will air June 26 and 27. W-TH on NBC and Telemundo affiliates across the country, along with MSNBC on cable.

POLITICO. 2020 Elections. DNC, "NBC announce first debate lineups." The field of 20 candidates has been randomly split into two groups of 10 debaters on back-to-back nights later this month. By ZACH MONTELLARO and CHRISTOPHER CADELAGO, 06/14/2019 12:41 PM EDT | Updated 06/14/2019 04:03 PM EDT

The Democratic National Committee announced the lineups for the first party-sanctioned presidential debates, after a random drawing Friday in New York. Former Vice President Joe Biden, the top-polling candidate, will appear on June 27, the second of back-to-back nights of debates in Miami. He will be joined on the stage by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and South Bend (Ind.) Mayor Pete Buttigieg — but not Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), another top contender, who will debate nine other hopefuls on June 26.

The debates will air on NBC and Telemundo affiliates across the country, along with MSNBC on cable...

Couple of things.

At first I did not want her to run. She is our Senior Senator that holds Teddies seat. We need her here. She has been wonderful for MA and the country. Yep, willing to let her go as she has been fierce on the trail. Surprised me a bit and I am loving that.

Did you know that Obama was the one that talked her into running for Senate after the GOP blocked her from the CPA she founded? She is one of the GOPeepees worst nightmares.

I met her at a support rally for now Senator Markey. It was a quick in and out visit but she was fierce and friendly to those of us there. I got a chance to speak to her. She is a tiny thing and she sure as hell has a very big voice.

Most of the people on the first night are going to be more interested in talking about policy. The other night is going to be nothing but a battle of egos trying to one up the other instead of talking about much of anything. It's normally always the first night that has the top candidates and most people aren't paying close attention yet, so I actually think MORE people will tune in on night one than night two.

with Biden. i wish those who don't support Biden would just stop focusing on him so much. especially this early on.

not everything everyone does have to be centered around him.

Jay Inslee has a great record and he is best on the environment but instead of pushing that about his candidicacy he got caught up in complaints about the debates. and this has taken away from his very excellent record.

i don't believe Warren has complained so those who support her should follow her lead.

remember she didn't do Fox News either and she is doing better than those who did.
