Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSwearing off all PAC money can have a bad rebound for our people...
Unions are also considered PACs.. and Trump has been collecting money since they day he was sworn in.. so if any of our people who have sworn off PAC's get the nod.. I hope they clarify this is just the primaries.. because we are going to need money to run against Trump and company.. We do not need to completely hamstring ourselves against the right..

In an interview with PBS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff, former Vice President Joe Biden revealed he advised 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders that he shouldn't take any money from political action committees, "because people can't possibly trust you."
"My positions are a hell of a lot closer to Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders on some of the economic positions," Biden said about a potential 2020 run for president.
"I sat with Bernie," Biden said of his meeting with the Clinton rival. "Im the guy that told him, you shouldnt accept any money from a super PAC, because people cant possibly trust you. How will a middle-class guy accept if you accept money?"

(1,810 posts)It's not like the PAC's can't just spend on them in different areas. It's more of an extremely weak "feel good" tactic than anything else. I firmly believe that not one of our candidates should swear off money from any PAC or industry.
