VP Joe Biden will try his best to move people along the continuum.. He never gives up..

So to all.. who say we should not even try .. well think about this.. this is from VP Biden (paraphrasing).. give them something that they have to vote for with us.. if they don't they will cut their own throats with their people.. not everyone on the other side is a Trumper....some are Nazis, KKK, immovable because they have no moral compass and have sold their souls to the Trump, and people are terrified of them, we have to show courage that we will protect them from the evil that goes to those campaigns and foams at the mouth..

We can tie them up just as quickly as they try and tie us up.. you have to be willing to fight the battles and not sit on the sidelines just critiquing everyone because they did not do it a certain way.. or they took a road not taken..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

union-busting senator who Biden worked with on anti-busing initiatives? That kind of working together?

It's funny how whites get coddled with civility and others just have to suck it up and be quiet or something...

I suppose he has to say this stuff to win the election, and then we can count on some progressive stuff to happen later.

On one hand, he wants to use his long history to show that cooperation is possible... OTOH, he needs to distance himself from many of the policies he espoused in that era, which presumably include some of the very policies he was actually able to get cooperation on. I mean, can he really run on how he got cooperation on the crime bill?

primary today, I would vote for:
