Presidential candidates including Senators Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Cory Booker, and Bernie Sanders have all signed a letter to the U.S. Soccer Federation to demand that the U.S. Womens National Team get paid on par with the mens team, according to The Hill.
President Trump has reportedly declined to say if the womens national soccer team should be paid the same as the men, saying, Well talk about this later, when asked by a reporter, according to The Hill.

On International Womens Day, March 8, the womens team filed a federal gender-discrimination lawsuit against the United States Soccer Federation, the national governing body for the sport."
