As others note below, there is some interesting “spin” in that press release. That’s to be expected, as that’s the job of press agents on a political campaign.

And that’s why I treat press releases somewhat skeptically

As I say I though you were going to start contributing positive threads rather than just negative ones.

DU undecideds need to hear about the candidates you love.

I do post articles occasionally, but in general they are positive about Democracts or critical of Republicans. I may have posted negative articles in the past but that’s all over now.

So I am indeed being the change I want to see in the world.

During this primary I am not going to post negative articles about any of our our candidates.

I don’t think the primary electorate is interested in negative campaigning.

I also know DU undecideds like myself are hungry to learn more about our candidates from DUers who have candidates they admire and support. That would be wonderful for the community.

You are a very interesting person and a good writer. Really looking forward to a positive piece by you.

we need in the general.

A plan in every pot is not the way to win the general. Does she have bipartisan negotiating skill? What are her foreign policy and relations qualifications? Does she have any stature on the world stage? Does she have a thorough working knowledge of how the White House works?

Can she honestly sell to moderate Dems, middle if the road independents, people who voted for Obama and then Trump, the centerpiece of her campaign, astronomically costly and untested programs she says can be paid by a new taxation system.

A whole new system when we must concentrate on rolling back the giveaways?

Educated ultra liberals respect her. This is a big country and it is not dominated by educated ultra liberals.

Big bold costly ideas, but not the wide ranging experience, knowledge, and job portfolio Joe has.

I will vote for her and support some of these programs, but I fear we will definitely lose the General again.

Promote your candidates’ policies and qualifications. Promote their ability to take back this country and our democracy. Promote their ability to get the Magahats crawling back under the rocks they flooded out of.

46. N.Y. Mayor DeBlasio was far worse on Biden in Chuck Todd interview.

Of course, Todd gave him plenty leeway for the pile on.

De Blasio drops to the bottom of my available choices. As if he ever had a chance anyway.

oppose them, denounce them.
But he implies that Biden is one of them.
That fact discredits him.

Racial uproar explodes among 2020 Democrats as rivals attack Biden for comments about segregationists

Sen. Cory Booker called on Biden to apologize.

"You don't joke about calling black men ‘boys.’ Men like James O. Eastland used words like that, and the racist policies that accompanied them, to perpetuate white supremacy and strip black Americans of our very humanity," Booker said in a statement.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris — both presidential contenders — responded to Biden's comments.

"I’m not here to criticize other Democrats, but it's never OK to celebrate segregationists," Warren said. "Never."

Harris said she was "deeply" concerned about Biden's remarks.

70. James Clyburn is siding with Joe Biden on this issue

This is very nice to see https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/06/20/why-joe-biden-is-so-defensive-over-his-remarks-about-segregationists/?utm_term=.ab8bb7949ad8

Biden has powerful Democratic backers on this: The highest-ranking African American member of Congress, House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (D-S.C.), told reporters Wednesday he understands where Biden is coming from and that he, too, worked with people such as Strom Thurmond. Other black Democrats in Congress tried to frame Biden’s words in charitable ways.

“I think the sentiment is something that we all know in the legislative body — that you work with people you don’t agree with,” Rep. Cedric L. Richmond (D-La.), a co-chairman of Biden’s campaign, said.

The Clyburn comment in particular is helpful to Biden. If there’s one friend in Congress you want to make as a Democratic presidential candidate, it’s probably Clyburn. He rules South Carolina Democratic politics, and South Carolina is the first early voting state with a majority black Democratic primary voters. Biden and his opponents will be campaigning in South Carolina this weekend at Clyburn’s famous fish fry.
