Also "i vow to not work with Republicans or anyone who disagrees with me" is foolish.

And you are correct, saying he won’t work w Republicans who can get on board with some of our policy goals wouldn’t play well with the Democratic Primary Electorate.

That may be popular here on DU, but DU is a bubble which doesn’t reflect real world Democrats.

Biden has been around the block. You talk about getting along with Republicans after you win the Primaries - and, your win is not assured!

perceived flaws, is polling extremely well against his primary & GE opponents, and I don't expect that to change significantly.

It would have made more sense if Biden worked with moderate Republicans to accomplish good things.

Working with openly racist segregationist Dixiecrats doesn't win over many Trump voters but can lose some of our increasingly diverse Democratic voters.
