Best answer of the night from Mayor Pete on why the SBPD didn't fix their diversity problem:

"Because I couldn't get it done."

Honesty, to a degree not common among run-of-the-mill politicians, is so damn refreshing.

Joe should've tried the honesty approach when confronted with his anti-bussing position. His answer should have been "I was wrong". End of discussion.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

He came across as very honest and was pragmatic when it came to explaining how to make changes for the better. I'm looking forward to seeing how the primaries play out. I've watched 20 candidates debating now and I think that all of them are very good, but Pete's the best.
