It actually is a practical strategy, but it never plays well...

"By 2090 we can expect:
Up to 9,300 more deaths per year
Up to $507.6 billion in economic damage per year."
I think those expectations are TRAGICALLY and MONSTROUSLY low-ball.
Need to add more zeroes on the back end to reflect what's likely to happen, at least in my opinion.

that 2090 is too far out. There are indicators that climate change is accelerating and we could see devastation much sooner than previously expected.

That's likely to be settled WAY sooner than 2090. By maybe half a century.
