from MSNBC this morning it is clear: #ButHisGaffes are the new #ButHerEmails

the lazy stupid story the media can press to give the false equivalency they crave, without doing much work or putting in much effort.

Andrea Mitchell had on several guests who said (1) trump's "gaffes" are 100x worse, (2) with all that is happening, voters don't care about gaffes, and (3) in some cases Biden's gaffes are endearing and improve reliability.

Both Mitchell and Chris Jansing had the same response: Huh. OK LET'S SPEND ANOTHER 30 MINUTES ON THIS ONE BIDEN GAFFE.

Meanwhile, trump raped his wife, raped a respected reporter in a Bergdorf's dressing room, and raped a whole bunch of other women. Not going to talk about that! No siree!

primary today, I would vote for:

People don't care. Democrats like Joe Biden and they see the gaffs as part of his personality.

The public will shut this bullshit down and not give it traction.

The difference with "But her emails" is that as capable and smart as Hillary is, she never had endeared herself to the democratic base the way that Joe Biden has.

I am not worried about Biden getting past this. He will be fine. I actually have begun think that he is going to win this thing.

short-comings.

And when supporters of good candidates try to magnify simple, and long known, Biden public speaking flaws into huge character failings with dire warnings attached, I wonder that they are not making the case that their candidate has superior job-specific qualifications, knowledge, or experience.

But then I remember that they can’t make such a case, so they fall back on gaffes, imperfect memory, old-fashioned language, old age...

Because the simple truth is this: the most qualified, experienced and knowledgeable candidate is:

Joe Biden.

There is no argument to that because Biden has a long, distinguished legislative career, executive experience as Vice President for 8 years and has significant, hands-on foreign policy experience that none of the other candidates have.

None.

Biden is uniquely qualified to assume the Office of the Presidency. That's the thorn in everyone's side.

And so the complaints come down to speaking flaws and age-related 'concerns,' while both Sanders and Warren are in their 70s.

Slight disconnect, methinks. And a whole bunch of sour grapes.

Then ran my errands, came back, flipped it on, same opening.
