I'm fluent in Spanish which is why I thought using "alcalde" and then "congresista" was lame.

Ramos has been re litigating the deportations and "Obama's broken promise" to legalize 11 million people for years and that's why he was having a go at Biden like it was solely his call.

What you have seen tonight from him is vastly different from what he's like in his shows in Spanish.

Attacking Biden/ Obama was unnecessary and if what you're saying was true about his influence (not close in my opinion), he certainly didn't help the cause with Hispanics.

I'll move on by saying Ramos has been very aggressive towards Obama in the past because he didn't pass comprehensive immigration like he said he would. Google his interviews.

Big ego.

She is the only candidate on stage who has the experience, knowledge and the fortitude

And it might have come from a study reported by Vox in 2016:

I haven't seen anything else with those kinds of numbers, though I admit that my search was a quick one. Lots of reports about the tariffs potentially costing 300k-1m jobs in the near future.

Thu Sep 12, 2019, 10:21 PM
Sep 2019

It could benefit them by exposing them to a different perspective. When I was a kid in school, my Sunday School teacher was a knowledgeable and very nice black lady, though I didn't know about minorities at that point in life, I lived in a fairly diverse community. And my mother was particularly friendly with my teacher since she was also a Sunday School teacher, taught the youngest kids and my teacher's little boy was in her class. I'm not saying that minorities in my community didn't face prejudice, but to me they were just a nice family that I knew.

Kids in impoverished families are exposed to far less language and cultural norms than those with more resources. Having access to radio, music, tv, etc. is actually better when parents can’t engage.

He took off with it and didn’t make the point at all well though.
