i hated ronald ray-gun and never understood what people saw in him. in hindsight, i came to realize that he had a likeability and charisma i just couldn't see as i hated his policies.
beto is very charismatic; he can excite crowds and get them to cheer for him. it may sound sexist, but he has a "boyish-ness" about him that works.
