2. I checked "Medicare for all who want it", but

I did so because there was no option for "Medicare for all except those who don't want it". Emphasis on passive inclusion and active opt-out. This would reflect my position more accurately.

Too many people have GOOD insurance through their employer and don’t pay that much for it. Telling people they’re going to give that up for something unknown is a big loser IMO.
I like the opt-out idea. A Medicare buy-in option can be eventually transitioned to single payer. But trying to force it all at once is a bad idea.

...the only way to be able to adequately squeeze healthcare providers and big pharma is to have everybody in a single pool...

...when Medicare negotiates with these weasels they will either go along with Medicare or be denied access to the Medicare pool via no coverage...few will be able to pay out of pocket and there will be no other private insurance to skim the healthy with alternative coverage...

...only then will we be able to get a proper handle on healthcare costs in this country and be able cover everyone...

...no matter what heathcare system we have, the healthy will be paying for the sick...we need all the healthy in a single pool...

...it'll work...
