I’m pretty much over the extreme pearl clutching every time Joe doesn’t conform to the expectations of other candidates’ supporters.

"condescending and inappropriate"
Huh? Who are you talking about? The person who tweeted this? Or Biden?

Holding this girl's hands and patting them while making a sarcastic and condescending remark is a creepy male dominance move.
I see nothing of the sort. She reached out, he responded.

He's been told repeatedly to stop that sort of behavior, and he just can't help himself.
These tactics aren't going to work. Joe Biden's demonstrativeness has endeared him to the voters who matter most. We're not going to abandon him because someone imagines demons or ill-intent with his gestures of love and compassion.

We deserve better.
Yes we do. So stop it, please.

And the look on her face as she turned away, toward the person she apparently knew was getting video, shows she thinks her ambush was successful.

I thought Biden handled it very well.

I would rather see people promote their candidates than do this kind of thing to other Democrats. We need a primary, a strong primary, but we have to come out of it in tact, not in a million pieces. Support your candidate, Senator Warren is a strong candidate, do that, make a case for her candidacy, stop bashing the other Democrats running in the primary.

This happens a lot to women.

Also, his sarcastic remark at the end is not right, after her serious questions and concern about the fossil fuel industry.
