If Joe Biden is nominee he should appeal to Venezuelan exiles in Florida

The message would be simple. Donald Trump hung the Kurds out to dry, and he did the same thing with you.
The minute Donald Trump learned that Vladimir Putin wanted him to leave Nicolas Maduro alone, he left Nicolas Maduro alone.

this messaging would be difficult for Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, for example, who take a softer line on Maduro.

And by the way, I do not support a coup d'etat in Venezuela, but if pandering to Cubans and Venezuelan voters is what it takes to take back Florida, so be it.

primary today, I would vote for:

Because if a candidate is soft on Maduro, he's soft on Castro.

That would mean a complete repudiation of Obama's deshielo cubano.

I do not think that is going to fly at any level, especially as Biden and hs wife were all in for it.

On Board with Dr. Jill Biden: Havana and Camaguey, Cuba

The Obama White House

President Obama re-established diplomatic relations with Cuba, and visited Havana with his family in March. Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden just became the first American official in decades to travel to Camaguey, Cuba. Learn more: WH.gov/Cuba
