I'd imagine he helped himself considerably?

Been close to that switch for awhile. Still love Harris but think she's better suited as vp or AG.

Something about “Mayor Pete” just grabbed me though, that intangible something that only a small % of the populace is blessed with.

11. You are right. He has a self-awareness... a 'consciousness,' that few people in the world have.

He 'watches' himself.

It takes, practice and hard work.

4. He showed strength in many areas, especially discussing the Syria debacle and his own experiences

He went too far in attacking Beto over what is an understandable difference in policy. Sometimes a little appreciation for what has motivated this difference in opinions (e.g., Beto's experience in El Paso and other nearby mass shootings) is necessary.

13. No. Mystified at the cheers for Buttigieg and Klobuchar's performances.

Fundamentally, I'll vote for any of them. But I'm still a Warren girl, with love for Sanders, Booker, and... I'll admit it, after last night I finally warmed a bit to Biden. I don't get why people think Buttigieg and Klobuchar did so well. I grew up and lived in MN until 11 years ago. I saw lots of Klobuchar. I wasn't impressed then, and I'm not impressed now. To me she just comes across as a milquetoast middle of the road finger waving mom. Last night was no different. Buttigieg is kind of a hollow suit for me. It doesn't matter how smoothly he performed - he has few actual plans (and seems to take pride in that), and he has failed utterly as a mayor to deal with race and policing issues. He'll still be much better than Dump if he becomes the nom on a long shot, but I don't see any reason he should be getting great reviews just because he sounded reasonably competent.

Of course, when you have Dump as a comparison, EVERYONE seems competent.
