. . . being at ZERO? As in: nothing at all in the fund? Which at the time seemed super-odd.
If this is true (do you have a link?), this means that she must have decided not to run many months ago, not just recently – that she's had different plans all along.
Would welcome any confirmation (or not) anyone could dig up on this -

anything about TG's funds except recently.. but there's been so much information coming down the pike..

I just googled and there's this..

House seat challenger beating Tulsi Gabbard with Hawaii donors

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2019/10/tulsi-gabbard-with-hawaii-donors-house-challenge/

Tulsi Gabbard Raised Negative $20 for Her House

snip// Ah Ha!

The absence of any fundraising or spending on her House race has left political observers with the impression that Gabbard may not return to Congress at all if her White House bid falls short. By contrast, during this quarter in the 2018 election cycle, Gabbard brought in more than $225,000 in net contributions, per federal filings.

I think I did see something on DU about this one from TDB.

I must have read something like the Daily Beast article, though it looks like I was wrong that she had zero dollars in her congressional campaign account: the more accurate information seems to be that she hadn't RAISED any funds. The lack of fund-raising was still telling, and mighty strange. Also note that the Daily Beast article was from July 2019, confirming my earlier inference that she likely decided some time ago not to run for re-election.

It will be nice to have her out of Congress, but I continue to wonder what she's really up to.

I read that Hawaii does not permit someone to run for two offices at the same time. It is possible that, as long as she was fund-raising for her presidential campaign, she would not be able to fund-raise for a congressional campaign, she would have to wait until she dropped out of the presidential race. I'm just speculating though, maybe someone else knows for sure, either way.

4. Fox interview with hannity last night...
Fri Oct 25, 2019, 04:41 AM
Oct 2019

I occasionally flip over to fox and listen to their BS in short doses before I'm ready to scream at their lies and distortions of reality; and low and behold, during a break in the Minnesota Washington game on the vannity propaganda hpur, who should I see but Tulsi gabbard getting airtime with mr. Goerbel himself.

Mind you, I was a gabbard supporter off and on in this race, but after watching and listening to her pitch to the treasonous pig's audience, there is no way I would support her for local street sweeper. DISGUSTING ROLL-OVER TOOL for vannity. I didn't buy into the "Russian candidate" garbage, but when the truth came out that HRC NEVER suggested that, but she did suggest she is the "RepuKKKe candidate", I whole heartedly agree. PATHETIC!!

Vannity would ask her questions about his conspiracy crap, and she NEVER ONCE refuted anything. She would smile and pitch how she was for paper ballots...or transparency in politics...but NEVER ONCE did she push back at all on vannity's propaganda blitz; and it would appear she agreed. She referred to the "war mongering HRC agenda", and you would think she wad referring to the Democratic Party.

YES...SHE IS A REPUBLICAN TOOL. I was stunned. I'm glad she recognizes she is unable to hold her own seat. She is a boot licking third party candidate..FOR SURE!

I hope someone can post that clip from last night. I was shocked!

Up until recently, I and some others have have speculated that she may have been angling for a VP spot. but I think she pretty much ruled that out with that loony tweet about Hillary. Even a cabinet or other appointed position seems unlikely. So what is her end-game? Some people here are saying Fox News... could be. when she soiled her nest with the Democratic Party and offered herself to him. I've seen a fair number of politicians self destruct over the years, and I've suspected, ever since 2016, that that's what's happening. No contradictions to the pattern.

If she craves attention, and her behaviors suggest she does, I could see Gabbard running through other parties or joining/starting an organization that pays her to act out on the national stage. And she's famous, articulate and very good looking, so I expect to be clicking away from her on political entertainment shows for some time -- until she spoils the big cable gigs and has to follow Brazile to Maher and such.

In an era when the Republican leadership is running even conforming women out of office, I don't see Gabbard lasting long before her match landed in their fireworks shed, even if in some ways she might be a better fit with them.

10. Saw Geraldo (Al Capone's Vault) Rivera defending her on FOX
Fri Oct 25, 2019, 05:58 AM
Oct 2019

Don't watch FOX, but my husband always switches over during commercials on MSNBC just to see if FOX ever covers what's going on in the real world, for a laugh. Well there was Geraldo, all fired up, bashing Hillary Clinton and bragging about what a great candidate Tulsi is, a woman, a minority, a war hero and how if the Democrats didn't want her, Trump should offer her a cabinet position, right now! Don't know who the rest of the panel was, but they were agreeing with him. At the last debate, we both thought it was odd When Tulsi was asked who her most "surprising friend" was, and she said Trey Gowdy. Really? He had put the Democrats and especially Hillary, through hell, then her bringing up that "deplorable" remark, it was like she intentionally wanted to hurt Hillary. That and a lot of Tulsi's other views, just didn't sit well with us.

When Hillary said Putin wanted a Puppet right to Trump's face during their debate, she was 100% right, as we have sadly learned. I have no doubts Hillary is right about Tulsi, too.
