Gabbard announces she won't seek re-election to Congress amid speculation of a third-party bid

Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced on Friday that she would not seek re-election to Congress in order to focus on her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran who was first elected to Congress in 2012, thanked her constituents as she vowed to serve Hawaii from the Oval Office.

“I'm fully committed to my offer to serve you, the people of Hawaii & America, as your President & Commander-in-Chief,” Gabbard wrote on Twitter. “So I will not be seeking reelection to Congress in 2020. I humbly ask for your support for my candidacy for President of the United States.”

Though Gabbard’s decision makes sense given her fundraising and polling disadvantage, some Democrats cited the move as evidence that she may launch a third-party presidential run after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton predicted as much in an interview last week.

Has any of the more than dozen running in democratic primaries served and seen combat duty, besides Gabbard of course, because she always brings that up.

by laying down your life for the country. But it has no bearing on your executive ability to run the country, as you said.

The candidate is a draft dodging chicken shit like Trump....
But you know I have thought about Trump and tried to visualize Trump in boot Camp.
Trump would be the one that could never learn to March. He would forget to put his left foot forward first and he would have the drill Sergeant constantly yelling at him...or visualize Trump on the obstacle course. This segment of boot camp is where one either makes it or is set back or causes the whole Company to suffer consequences. If this would have happen he would get the shit beat out him at night with a pillow in his face to muffle the sound. And no doubt he would have called his Daddy to come get him then.
But lets say he would make have made it through and is sent to Vietnam.... It would be almost a sure bet that this guy would've ended up as the backstop for a bullet.
