Good defense strategy. I applaud him for it. Let’s hope it filters into the field offices where a lot of the threats are.

But instead of just focusing on the field offices I suggest that all senior aides of the candidates be vetted thoroughly. It is definitely needed since two candidates have a verifiable history of shielding and protecting sexual harassers who were close aides. I would be really mad at Bernie if I found out that he knew of abuse by his closest aides and did nothing about it. That would be disqualifying to me as a Democrat.

It really seemed to take on an atmosphere ripe for repeated abuse. It was such a bad atmosphere that Sanders own campaign manager said this: "Speaking generally about 2016, was it too male? Yes. Was it too white? Yes. Would this be a priority to remedy on any future campaign? Definitely, and we share deeply in the urgency to make the necessary changes," Jeff Weaver
