South...small white Iowa with unDemocratic caucuses will not choose our nominee ( who would surely lose the general altough I will vote for any Democratic nominee), Iowa's days as a decider are over...doesn't represent our party...Super Tuesday will decide the candidate and Mayor Pete will not win on super Tuesday.

nominee. He might win Iowa although I doubt it...he won't win the rustbelt. He was Mayor of a very blue part of Indiana. Also, I don't believe he has enough experience to be president...although I would vote for him should I be proven wrong.

win a general...God help us if Trump wins again. I am not of the opinion that Trump will be easily beaten. He needs three states in the rust belt...and he wins (Wi, PA and MI)...he can win if gets only Wisconsin and it is thrown into the house...with the gerrymander he wins. IMHO, it will come down to Wisconsin. And I believe Biden is the only candidate who can take Wisconsin in the general. Biden will likely take Ohio and Florida also, something no other candidate can do.
I will vote for the Democratic nominee of course. However, I hope the Democratic party as a whole thinks long and hard on who can be elected. It is essential we throw Trump to the curb.

times that Mayor Pete (whom I like but not for the nominee although I would vote for him in a general) will now challange Biden and perhaps as some have suggested Sanders. I do not believe it to be true. I think rather than be subject to your nasty remarks just becaue I support a different candidate and have opinions that differ from yours, I will simply use ignore. I tire of this. Everyone has the right to support whom they choose and voice their opinion on this site...even those you disagree with.

I am not the one who constantly says it is my way or the highway when it comes down to whom to support.

I do not make it a habit of going around and slagging off other candidates over and over, although I have taken my fair of shots at Gabbard. Most of my time in the primaries section of DU is spent posting polls, posting debate updates, posting articles and videos about Buttigieg, plus defending multiple candidates (obviously Pete at the top of that list, but many others as well) from what I perceive to be disingenuous and/or dishonest attacks.

I also do not try to spin every single pro-Pete or anti-Pete article, poll, etc into a Pete-is the only answer prism. I have considered Biden to be the most likely to beat Trump for months, but that belief is starting to slip slowly away. Given his MASSIVE pre-loaded advantages, he should have put this whole thing to bed ages ago. The simple fact is he has not, and has looked poor in most of the debates. I am no longer 100% convinced he can beat Trump, and certainly do not think Biden is the only one who can.

I am, like you, a sceptic when it comes to electing a far left POTUS candidate. That leaves my realistic choices between Biden and Buttigieg. I was very disappointed Bullock never caught on. That said, I think Pete would make a better president than anyone else in our field, thus I am going to vote for him in the California primary. If he doesn't win, he doesn't win, and if Biden does, then I will enthusiastically vote for Joe in the general. All that despite of, certainly not because of, the behaviour of some of his supporters.

I give zero weight to scare tactics and appeals to authority from anonymous posters on the internet when I chose my candidates, and would never let that affect my general election vote, as I fully intend to vote Blue no matter who in November 2020.
