What Do We Want? BEAT TRUMP!

When Do We Want It? November 3, 2020!

Repeat as needed. That's the cheer we should be leading. What polls should we be watching? The ones that measure margins between Democratic candidates and Donald J. Trump. Support the candidate who beats Trump by the widest margin. Protect against manipulation of the vote by backing that candidate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It still makes me nuts that two small states can determine if a candidate is "viable" or not. redstatebluegirl Nov 2019 #1

Iowa and New Hampshire??? Really? I want to beat Trump with all my heart. I also want to have at least a few years of "back to normal".

Iowa and New Hampshire might winnow the pack down to four or five. But that's all those two states can really do in 2020.

They're followed by Nevada and South Carolina, which will probably narrow things down to just four candidates. But, they don't matter so much, either, really.

What will matter is what happens on March 3, 2020, when several of the states with the largest number of delegates to send to the nominating convention vote. By then, people will be used to having just four people from whom to choose. The results of the Super Tuesday primaries are going to reduce that number to just two. I guarantee it. That's because we will have the first really significant delegate count numbers following those elections, and they will tell the tale.

On March 4, 2020, there will remain only two candidates standing to duke it out for the rest of the primary campaign season. One of them will have a serious lead and will probably be the eventual nominee.

Iowa and New Hampshire don't really play in the 2020 election, I think. There's too much at stake on March 3. They will narrow the field a bit, but it is Super Tuesday that will give us our first look at who is most likely to be the Democratic nominee.

white and not reflective of the electorate. It’s more of a tradition or a ritual in these times..

especially in the swing states, because Trump and the GOP, with Putin's help, are going to cheat by any means they can come up with. We can't allow the election to be close enough for them to win by cheating.

The March 3 Super Tuesday primaries are going to see undecided Democratic voters thinking about that margin against Trump. As they decide which candidate gets their vote, that number is going to help them make their decision. That's going to make a huge difference, which will be reflected in the delegate count numbers that get reported on March 4, 2020. Then, we'll know, I think, who the nominee will be.

I think his photo is at the bottom of this post, actually.
