It is one thing to totally support one of the Democratic primary candidates and work

your butt off to help them be our nominee. It is quite another thing to "help" that candidate by tearing down their Democratic competitors. This is classic "crabs in a basket" behavior.

I understand that if one puts several crabs in a basket, they will prevent each other from climbing out. Although all the crabs can easily grab the basket's rim and pull themselves up and out, as soon as they try it, one or more of their fellow captives will pull them down. As a result, they all wind up in hot water.

Help your favorite climb, but don't pull another down.

Some people seem to feel that any criticism of policies or campaign tactics equals "bashing".

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

if someone ALERTS on a post that forthrightly criticizes their favorite or one of their proposals, that's "tearing down" and that's bullshit.

would refrain from attacks.

Just what will Biden do if Warren is the candidate? How will Buttigieg reply to reporters asking him how he can support a candidate given his statements? How will Warren pivot? How can Harris support Biden after her attacks in the debates? You better believe that the media has all the sound bites and video keyed up for the interviews that come after the convention.

They are just being short sighted.
