in office (except maybe worse) so no, there will be no eiphany, but if that's what gets you through the day, go for it.

The only epiphany they need to see is their sorry backsides being booted out of office. Then and only then will they figure out there was a problem and even at that point they will blame someone else.

Does he have a magic wand to wave at them or is he just living in the past?

The current republicans are defending trump over their own country, does he really think they are "decent" people who will change just because he would be the president?
