The extremes left and right.. join hands and try to take down the Democratic and Republican parties

They have succeeded in the Republican party.. it is no longer a major party but a cult of Trump.. and the followers are Trumpians who cannot be bothered with the truth of anything..

Fortunately Democrats are harder to herd.

Heads up Boris and Natasha (ref. Rocky and Bullwinkle).. it is will not work with the Democrats. While I am up to my eyebrows with reading about the Nation and the craziness of going after VP Biden,(as if he gives a flying frankfurter what they think). It will not destroy the Democrats.

Oh you have your Stein loving people who like to play in the kids end of the pool at the Democratic pool party..But they never vote for Democrats.. so we just let them play

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

But Nixon, for all that he was a crook, also supported a UBI and national healthcare.

He created the Environmental Protection Agency, increased funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and supported liberalization of laws against recreational drugs.

From Wikipedia:
'Affirmative action in its most quota-oriented form was a Nixon administration policy. Even the Nixon "War on Drugs" allocated two-thirds of its funds for treatment, a far higher ratio than was to be the case under any subsequent President, Republican or Democrat. Additionally, Nixon's normalization of diplomatic relations with Communist China and his policy of détente with the Soviet Union were likely more popular with liberals than with his conservative base. Nixon also successfully supported a cost-of-living adjustment for Social Security recipients"

And this steady push of the terms of what is considered allowable debate is one reason that the 1% are so successful politically.

Since the 1960s, the GOP and allied "research groups" have pushed both major Parties to the right.
