Check out Bloomberg

Hello DU
Hannahcares here...longtime DU member and voting integrity activist. 70 yr old grandma - lifetime DEM!
Please go to MikeBloomberg.com and read what he has been doing. He just helped VA state candidates take control of state legislature!
Tremendous supporter of sensible gun reform laws, the environment, keeping kids safe from new nicotine products, etc. Incredibly progressive, articulate and intelligent. Check him out before you pass judgement on “just another billionaire” . FYI- no relation and certainly no connection to his just announced campaign. But my husband husband of 42 years ( mostly Republican) would vote for Mayor Mike in a flash. Thanks for listening! Peace, Hann

Helped flipped VA - great. Hope he can do it in more states. Yes, all the millionaires here, do use your money and influence to travel the country to places where we can have a chance. Spend your money there, why not?

(OK, at least Bloomberg knows how to run a complex government body, but, really, another New Yorker millionaire?)

The last thing we need is another billionaire in the White House. If he was serious about it he'd have gotten in a long time ago. He hasn't got a chance and he'll just clutter things up.

but there are people in Our party that hate billionaires and wealth. Your automatically a bad person or somthing. Its really a warped mentality. They are fine with life long Washington insiders who have made millions in Congress via the tax payer dole. Mike is our ally not our enemy. The comments on here from some are stunning. He's rich! That makes him a non-starter for me, but I like some of his other policies a lot, plus he does have real government experience given the size of NYC.

This should be a 'democratic' process and I don't like people saying who
should be allowed to run, and who shouldn't.

Supporters of other candidates seem to be afraid of Bloomberg.
Put the knives away and advocate for your own candidate.

will do is give the presidency to Trump. I don’t want another multi millionaire as President and he is in his late 70’s. Fine he helped Dem’s gain control of VA state legislature. That’s great! So why can’t he help Dem’s that are running for President right now instead of running himself.

Republicans and independents will vote for Bloomberg over Trump, hands down. So many despise Trump, and fear what another Trump term might do.
As DEMs, we all cried and staggered in disbelief when they shut DU down on election night and stole 2016. (I was working with Verified Voter advocates and we were fearful in advance of which larger precincts in Wisconsin, Michigan and PA that the Pubs could flip using Francois Chochettes size/precinct vote flipping research)
Folks, every candidate has policies we like and policies we question. Every Dem candidate so far has incredible strengths and some weaknesses, and any of these excellent candidates would make a wonderful President. The only problem is “ can they prevail in the General Election?
We can’t afford to be purists here. The future of the United States and our Democracy depends on defeating Trump,( not whether a candidate supported “Stop and Frisk” or for that matter supported Clarence Thomas nomination process so brutally unfair to Anita Hill!)
Please remember here on DU, we don’t always consider how the rest of the country might react.
Let’s look at who can win the general election- that is really all that matters. Peace, Hannah
