*NEW* Morning Consult: Biden 31%, Sanders 20%, Warren 18%, Buttigieg 8%, Harris 6%, Bloomberg 4%

https://morningconsult.com/2019/11/10/bloomberg-is-top-choice-for-4-percent-of-democratic-primary-voters/

Bloomberg’s initial entrance would do little to disrupt the current state of play, according to the national survey of 2,225 registered voters who indicated they may vote in the Democratic primary or caucus in their state, which had a margin of error of 2 percentage points. At 31 percent, former Vice President Joe Biden held his spot as the race’s front-runner, while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), with 20 percent and 18 percent, respectively, continue to vie for second.

Bloomberg’s net favorability — the share of voters who approve of him minus those who disapprove — is worst among the party’s youngest voters (ages 18-29) and those who identify as independents, while it’s best among the oldest Democratic primary voters (ages 65 and older) and those who say they’re conservative, who make up a small share of the overall Democratic party.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

24. That is completely untrue. And the idea that Trump will be easily beaten in the EC is wrong...
Sun Nov 10, 2019, 11:29 AM
Nov 2019

It is more important this year that we have a nominee who can beat Trump in the EC in the rust belt states...you hate Trump and I hate Trump,I would vote for any nominee...but you make a mistake if you think others in this center left country don't like him or like us less. Many will vote their party too- like him or not.I wish our voters would do this. Vote blue no matter who. One more Scotus pick and progressives might as well go home for the next several decades, the courts will be completely controlled by the right.

Trump has a good chance to win this thing and who the nominee is will determine whether we win or we lose. We came into this race thinking Trump must go but now it has descended into...I want this nominee or that one...even when multiple polls show their chosen candidate may not be the best one in terms of beating Trump. This is madness when we have evil squatting in the White House and our Republic is at risk.

I don't give two fucks about policy right now, where the candidates get their money to beat the crap out of Trump or really anything that usually I would consider in choosing whom I will support. I support Biden partly because I believe he is the only candidate that will beat Trump in the rust belt and multiple polls reflect this. I would vote blue no matter what of course but our chances are limited with other candidates.

We must win in the EC. If we voted directly, Trump would be beaten by any of our fine candidates, but we don't. We must win the EC and that will be accomplished in MI, WI and PA or not and the numbers are too close for my liking.

I would also add, I have never supported any nominee I agree with completely. I adored Obama but I never agreed with him on trade. He was however, my first choice. There are no perfect candidates and we need to understand this. Any Democrat is better than any Republican in any election period. I am always enthusiastic about winning and beating the crap out of any Republican, but this year especially Trump.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Sun Nov 10, 2019, 01:37 PM

The electoral college is where the election will be won or lost. We should have all learned that lesson after 2016 where Hillary racked up nearly 3 million extra votes but lost due to approx 80,000 votes spread across MI, WI, and PA. If we don't win the Rust Belt states, we'll be staring at the same disaster compounded by the damage Trump and his cronies have already done.

This isn't rocket science. Those Rust Belt states going Blue is the difference between success and failure. Policy and programs are secondary to winning. All our candidates offer a liberal vision for America with varying ways of getting there. But only the candidate who can pick up what we lost last time out will beat Trump. We have to dismiss the fairytale that anyone or anything (ham sandwich, for instance) can beat this sucker. It's simply not true and sings us a lullaby that 2020 is wrap for Democrats and that all candidates are up to the task.

Every poll indicates Joe Biden can take Trump to the woodshed and beat the living daylights out of him.

That is why I support him. In addition, he's the most qualified candidate on the roster.

Winning in 2020 is EVERYTHING.

weight on Iowa...they don't even reflect their state vote and are not nor should be in a position to determine our nominee...Clinton won the presidency losing both New Hampshire and Iowa. I think this is the last time anyone cares about Iowa and that is a good thing as they don't reflect our diversity and putting so much weight on their results is a slap in the face to our AA constituency. They will have little effect on the race IMHO...as for New Hampshire...if Bernie and or Warren don't win this state, it could hurt them because they are from the area but it won't hurt Biden.

do what we do too often. Republicans do what they want even if the people don't want it because they exude strength. If we stop the timidity and lean into our true beliefs and sell it, the people will follow because they will see there is reason to hope for better.

The problem is that when some on our side start using Republican talking points to go against policies that saves lives or make people's lives better because "funders" don't like it, we are fighting a multifront war. That only happens if we don't exact a price on those not going against the real polled will of Americans.

Let's get busy and lean in with passion and conviction.

I wrote this article a while back and I think the Democratic Leadership would do well to read it. Donald Trump went to visit "Black People" in Georgia this week and was summarily mocked by our Liberal Elite. Not so fast. A party seeking status quo out of "fear" presents the same danger to the aggrieved as the one purported to aggrieve. And when the aggrieved decides to be transactional all are up for grabs. This applies to women, and to many other demographics.
