there is no excuse for that article, none. That reporter needs to be fired and the paper needs to be sued.

I guess we can be glad this fool doesn't build bridges for a living he might have killed someone, instead he likely killed a candidacy. Nothing short of firing is good enough here.

I am amazed it is this blatant. At this point I am wondering if that reporter his a member of the FRC or some other anti gay group.

Not the error occurring in a transcription at a loud rally, as the reporter said.
One tends to question that reporters explanation/apology, yes.

What really gets me is that reporter’s “apology” sounds like he’s patting himself on the back for his big “apology.”
