At a church forum, Elizabeth Warren says she is open to suspending deportations

...
Speaking at Umstead Park United Church of Christ, Warren was grilled about wide-ranging economic and political issues at a forum organized by the national Latino advocacy organization, Mijente.

"I am open to suspending deportations, particularly as a way to push Congress for comprehensive immigration reform," Warren said.
...
Though Umstead Park United Church of Christ is home to a young, liberal congregation in west Raleigh that has provided Eliseo Jimenez of Greensboro, North Carolina, sanctuary for more than two years, Warren was not asked her views on sanctuary churches or cities. She also got no questions about her faith.
...
During the one-hour Q&A forum, which drew close to 200 people, many of them Hispanic, Warren was asked about many of her favorite topics: restructuring the American economy to give greater opportunities to people at the margins, reforming corporate governance and a wealth tax on rich Americans.

In a general and it's four more years of Trump, and it won't be close this time.

They lie to call us for "open borders", but with Warren they don't even have to lie. They just have to let her tell everyone herself.

Your shitting me? Deportions, as a part of a competent immigration program, are necessary. Does she realize how poorly this plays- even in the Latino community? This isn't even a base issue. This is a walking, talking ad that would be quite devastating in middle America. Forget any context, it won't matter in general.

the undocumented which won't play well with folks who have no coverage of any sort...this is disqualifying in the general...And there is likely a video.

"I am open to suspending deportations, particularly as a way to push Congress for comprehensive immigration reform," Warren said."

"Warren said she also supported decriminalizing border crossings."

"In response to a question about whether her Medicare for All plan would provide undocumented people access to health care, Warren said it would."

there are nine replies to my OP. I only see three.

I use the Ignore button whenever I consider responses more provocative and argumentative than enlightening. So I have a fairly long "Iggy" list. I probably should clean it out someday. But I am in no hurry to.

So please feel free to blast away at my OPs because I shall remain in ignorant bliss and never rise to your bait.

don't want to see other posts? Hell, you could play a recording of your own words over and over while nodding with great enthusiasm, and it would be pretty much the same thing. Talk about preaching to the choir.
