And actually, if you count the support for Klobuchar, it's 46%.

(497 posts)is absolutely representative of the future. Pete represents all the younger generations that have to deal with climate change which is the crisis that the older politicians have ignored up until now.

It will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure. I expect he will shine, but it will be a test for sure.

(673 posts)rather Biden get the win in Iowa, but if he could manage it, coming in 2nd would be a pretty big deal for him overall. Buttigieg is my 2nd choice of the field at this point.
As far as Warren and Sanders go, I'm not sure that either of them could stand a 4th place finish. In this poll there isn't any real difference in Warren, Biden, and Sanders so any order could happen there. If it were a Buttigieg/Biden/Warren/Sanders finish, where does that leave us?
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(32,755 posts)Biden coming in third place in the latest poll, but this interesting nugget is a bit buried, re: confidence in who could beat Trump: Among all poll respondents, 52% say they are fairly confident or almost certain Biden will beat Trump.
And Just 27% of his *own* supporters say they are almost certain he can beat President Trump. Thats 30 points behind Biden in a poll where Democrats saying winning is the most important thing.
