MSNBC - where not to get advice for a Dem win. Boycott or send stern letters

Can't believe they left Steve Schmidtt back on after his short sabbatical working for Howard Schultz.
While I will not boycott, as I do appreciate some of the reporters, Schmidtt is a step too far. And listening to him tell 'liberals' what they want or can have as a candidate is sickening.

Stern letters are in order.
Chuck Todd, are you still in charge of news there?

primary today, I would vote for:

does not in any way, shape, or form equate to either trusting him as an unquestioned ally.

All those who reflexively state that "but, but, but he's not a Democrat" when all the rest of us are saying is that we will take the opportunity for him to speak out against cowardly Trump sycophantic R's -- as though the rest of us are either too stupid or naive' to see this are being ridiculous. It doesn't make you look any smarter, just unwilling to be strategic.

To the poster to whom I reply, I realize you are taking the brunt of about a half dozen others, but my patience has worn thing. So, my apologies for being overly antagonized.

I do NOT support taking any action whatsoever.

Schmidt like other "Never Trumpers" are not the problem. We are all smart enough and aware enough to know there will always be issues with conservatives/libertarians and they don't change those stripes. Sill, we have alignment as far as Trump is concerned. I take his advice with a grain of salt, but that doesn't mean he can't be right.

He was a senior advisor in the McCain campaign and persuaded him to choose Sarah Palin as his running mate …….A few months ago this genius was pushing a Howard Schultz third party run that , if partially successful , would have handed a second term to Trump …….For the money ...Now he's saying that 2020 is a do or die election for the survival of the Republic ... ...Trump must go......Which is it Steve ? …..I have no use for Republicans telling us who should lead our party …….Ditto for Jennifer Rubin ..

I can't believe how many people come on here and gripe about the occasional MSNBC guest who goes too far right. I can handle that. I don't need a station that caters exclusively to a far left crowd. For one thing, their audience would not be large enough to have an impact on the voting public. I know swing voters, some of whom vote R most often, who watch MSNBC at least some of the time. I hope and expect that it has some impact on their views.

This post is not aimed at anyone with a post above me in this thread; I am just talking about something I see on a regular basis here on DU.

But there's something to be said about platforming obviously ridiculous ideas. I'm fine with a Republican coming on the air to talk about economics, but I don't think we need to give climate change deniers a say in the debate over carbon emissions.

I 100% back AOC and our rising progressive wing, but we're not going to get 434 more of her into the House. We do need to interact with those who oppose us, and if someone slightly palatable like Steve Schmidt says the occasionally reasonable thing, it's ok to agree with him, without harping on "but remember when he...?" stuff every single time.
