Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumThis is bullshit: Pete Buttigieg's PAC Was Supposed To Help Elect Democrats. It Mostly Touted Him.
I'm sorry, but I might be missing something. Are any other candidate's PACs being criticized for supporting their candidate? I don't think so.
The committee spent less than 10% of its funds supporting Democratic candidates.
The PAC had done relatively little to help Democrats during the 2018 midterm elections, when the party waged its hard-fought battle to win control of the U.S. House. But it had paid significant sums to a host of Democratic consultants and staffers to promote Buttigiegs image. Of the slightly more than $400,000 Buttigieg raised for the PAC, it donated just $37,000 to other Democratic candidates.

articles, I'd guess he's a Warren supporter who views Buttigieg as a threat to her.

(96,882 posts)6. In Sept 2018, I organized a private dinner for Pete and three friends in the funding community...
...(his fundraising person at the time was an acquaintance of mine)
The gist of his PAC at the time was to advocate a stronger role for digital marketing in Democratic campaigns (as opposed to traditional TV campaigns).
I sure that having a PAC helped his profile... just as every other Democrats PAC HELPED THERES.
