I don’t know a lot of Dems who think raising the minimum wage is a bad idea or embrace racial profiling with stop and frisk.

At least one other candidate in the Democratic race for president is a former Republican.

Policies such as opposition to busing, support of draconian imprisonment and, just recently, backed a republican for Congress.

Bloomberg is different based on his recent activities. I just think it's funny this meme about Warrne comes up virtually every day on here from Biden supporters when it's clear Biden is much more in line with the repubs when it comes to taking on the donor class.

"A lifelong Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for mayor as a Republican. He defeated opponent Mark J. Green in a close election held just weeks after the September 11 terrorist attacks. He won a second term in 2005, and left the Republican Party two years later. Bloomberg campaigned to change the city's term limits law, and was elected to his third term in 2009 as an independent on the Republican ballot line. His final term as mayor ended on December 31, 2013." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bloomberg

I guess he's one more candidate who becomes an official Democrat when he wants to run for president.

To be fair , he is 1000 times more intelligent and competent than his fellow Republican Trump …. He gave a shitload of money to Pat Toomey in 2016 .. It is his right to hold his political views and it is my right not to vote for him .. One Republican Party is enough ...We don't need two

They are closing ballots and canceling primaries. So bloomberg is running as a dem. Convenience.

But watch for republicans crossing over and voting in the dem primaries to ratfuck us. trump will probably call for it himself.

What I worry about is what happens when he doesn't win the nomination? Will he go the Jill Stein route and give the job back to the one who stole it previously? I hope he just goes away if he doesn't take the general. Yes, if he is the general candidate running as a Democrat - I will support him then but never in the primary. Just don't trust billionaires and especially one who ran Stop and Frisk for so long.
