I think Kamala Harris will be haunted for a long time by the thought what could have been? The hardest part is that the answer will require looking deep within herself for how it all fell apart. If she can do that, I think we will see her again on the national stage.

(40,190 posts)I saw her at a town hall. There were at least 500 people in that room. She got more than one standing ovation. People were enthused. I felt great about her. I know others who did as well. And then it melted away.
My personal opinion is that for all her gifts, she never was able to tell voters who she was. Amy Klobuchar knows who she is. Pete Buttigieg knows who he is. Joe Biden certainly does. So does Elizabeth Warren. Kamala Harris seemed to ricochet around looking for her identity. I know that seems harsh. I could be wrong about it, but if I felt that way so did a lot of other people.
I will say this: In person she is very warm and fuzzy with an engaging smile. She has tons of charisma. I can't say what went wrong, but if she can figure out where it all unraveled there should be another chance for her.

Your "advice" for her seems more from your own fall from grace.
Kamala Harris is still a U.S. Senator, and still could be picked to be Vice President or some Cabinet level position...
