Warren tempers Medicare for all calling it a choice

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-17/warren-tempers-medicare-for-all-rhetoric-calling-it-a-choice?srnd=premium

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is starting to back away from a full-blown Medicare for All plan on the campaign trail, as she faces increased questions about whether her support for the proposal hurts her electability.

After pushing the swift creation of a government-run health care system that would cover all Americans and eliminate private insurance, Warren is now emphasizing her calls for a transition period that would make it optional for most of her first term in office.”

Sound familiar?

Desperate lies. Hope they come back in February to haunt those who delivered those lies.

Yet Warren is the one taking the hit on M4A. It’s total crap which is why those rushing to bury her will be disappointed.

Rightly or wrongly, people just don't accept it would be better for our country. They are going to have to try it out through a Public Option or something similar.

Warren set about a couple months ago to actually cost-analyze her M4A proposal. She came in at $20Trillion with huge assumptions that are not likely to pan out. She was tremendously honest in her analysis and she made 'adjustments' to implementation of her plan. Sounds like these adjustments are part of her stump speech now. Good. She's run a superb campaign, and she my be swinging back up in the polls. While my top pick is Klobuchar - I'd support Warren in a minute - very happily. Eagerly. She's got what it takes, and unlike Sanders, she's not a tea party ideologue who's 'my way or the highway' attitude compromises the ability to get things done. She would get things done, and she'd be a great President.
