He’ll lie, and lie, and lie........the Dems don’t know how to lie, they don’t know to cheat, they don’t know to screw fellow partners.....HE’LL EAT THEM ALIVE.

Disagree with debate requirements and leaving candidates out, but beginning to agree with your points.
Bernie seems to be the only candidate with a good organization who will be viable in November.
He's often criticized here for always returning to same thoughts and responses.
But that's because he and his supporters believe in these issues.
Unlike several other candidates, he's consistently on his message.
It's his core reason for running and the reason his ground game is probably the best in the early primary states.
He believes in what he's saying and it shows.
He's genuine and that's what will beat Trump.

Also it certainly doesn't look like the nominee will be AA or Latino, those voters need to be motivated.
A consistent, populist economic messages might well do that.

The OP made good points about Trump's potential strength.
Anyone who thinks beating him's gonna be a cake-walk is delusional.
Some post-ers seem to think the OP was just being a fear freak. Seems like he was just being realistic to me.

If we do, we have already lost.

Trump will not "eat them alive"- he is weak, and ignorant, and impulsive.

His high powered social media campaign may have a negative impact, just like last time, and the media may give him passes while exaggerating our nominee's gaffes and shortcomings, but Trump himself? I'm not worried one bit.

If we have a courageous nominee, with a strong, clear message, who inspires massive turnout at the polls, we will win.

and a mentally disordered idiot. Only two charges for impeachment should not cause anyone to forget his hundreds of crimes, his severe endangering of national security and all his roads that lead to Russia, and his active betrayal of his campaign promises to those who voted for him, not just his failures to come through. Acting to make the healthcare he promised would be better and cheaper actually unconstitutional, appointing justices who'll do it?

The debates will be chances to indict him for failing to serve the people on every front while speaking of what presidents are supposed to do, and whoever our nominee is will not be treating him as a fellow Democrat. IF Trump has the guts to show up, of course. His aides may think they can't risk it. Rallies draw the zealous. Debates are witnessed by all.
