Pete Buttigieg...

Bonus Quote of the Day
February 22, 2019 at 5:02 pm EST By Taegan Goddard

“Look, you could be a senior senator and have never managed more than a hundred people in your life. I not only have more years of government experience than the president of the United States, but I have more years of executive experience than the vice president of the United States, and more wartime experience than anybody who arrived in the office since George H.W. Bush.”

— South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, quoted by the Washington Post, on his experience to be president despite being 37 years old.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden's not officially in the race and he may not run. Even if he does, he may not do well. So, I officially like him and he's my early fave, but I like others as well, including Buttieg. I am very much looking forward to the primaries and the debates. Bring it on!

In order to kick TRUMP out of office. We all have to vote for the DEM candidate period. NO MATTER WHAT.

I hope you're right on the latter point, anyway.

On the former, there is no doubt. I also love Beto O'Rourke. I think Kamala Harris (your pick, whom I also respect) is fully capable of becoming president. Andrew Yang brings many intriguing ideas to the table. Warren, Brown, Booker, any of them would be fine, IMO.

I love Joe Biden too, but I am concerned about a president who would be 80 at the end of his term. I know that's "ageist." Maybe it's because so many of my extended family members suffered serious physical and/or mental decline in their 70s.
