Here's a little about Sirota's past. And yet Sanders still hired him and gives him free rein to ingenuously attack Biden and others when HE (Sirota) sees the need.

Right now Biden is ahead in all four early states so he's the one with the target on his back.

His surrogates will be out of a job then, with nothing to lose, and Bernie has shown little inclination to restrain them so far. Sirota was still bashing HRC, on election eve 2016.

I get that Bernie has little interest in what he calls 'political gossip', but he has hired a veritable junkie in David Sirota, who is unlikely to hold his piece should Biden be nominated.

I sincerely wish neither Bernie nor Joe had announced. Both have run before, and the record of Dems second and third time around is abysmal. Without them, I suspect we would be choosing between Elizabeth and Amy, both viable, qualified women, ably representing the traditions of the party: Warren stood up on the stage last night, and declared 'The American people do not want a war with Iran, before causalities were known; Amy has shown skills equal or better than Biden in getting bills through the Senate, and steel when it comes to SCOTUS nominations. .
