1. I certainly don't think a billionaire should be able to buy an election.

What about millionaires, though?

2. I think the concerns are, how did they amass their fortune? Did they willfully

support legislation that keeps workers rights down? Do you see what I mean? If a millionaire or billionaire is telling Americans they do not support Medicare for All, they should question that persons values, imo.

4. but im a middle class voter and im not for MFA either..

...what if we had it today? trump* would withhold funding for it til it was tied to the wall. I dont want any one entity ( esp NOT the government) to hold all the cards re: my healthcare.

9. We have the SCOTUS/Congress for such situations and private insurance controls the care you receive

Most Americans do not want that scenario nor do they want insane health care bills they can't survive.

5. Medicare for All is one way of addressing the problem of people without access

to health care but is not the only way. I would question the values of anyone who opposes universal coverage, which is the goal sought by all of the Democratic candidates.

12. It is the least expensive means to care for all Americans. But do you see what I mean about the

billionaire class? I believe that is in part where Warren is coming from.

13. How do you explain Warren Buffett, who's richer than God

but who voted for Clinton and has said he thinks he and other wealthy people should be taxed more? It's not as simple as it looks. Not all rich people are evil and not all poor people are virtuous.

15. I didn't say they were evil. I said I would question their values and I do.

A billionaire tells me he doesn't support Medicare for All, it tells me he likes his money more than he is willing to admit.

21. Supporting M4A should not be a litmus test for morality. M4A is only one of several possible ways

of constructing a system in which everyone has affordable health care. Believing there's a better, or more efficient, or more realistic way of arriving at that goal does mean that person has questionable values, billionaire or not.

22. With insurance companies? To me, and why I support Warren, there is no good reason to

not have the least costly and most people covered healthcare plan. Medicare for All. I do question the values-judgement of billionaires and others, its why we have a primary race.

Should we question the values of Biden, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Bennet?

..financial situation. That is class-ism and thats not who we are. We should welcome the poor AND the rich...

11. +100% this and I'm not wealthy

Our new governor was disliked by many when running but he is doing many good things imo including #1-moving Ruiner out of office !

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._B._Pritzker

He defeated Republican incumbent Bruce Rauner in the general election on November 6, 2018, and took office on January 14, 2019. As governor, he holds more private wealth than any other governor in U.S. history and is the second-wealthiest U.S. politician to have ever held office, after Michael Bloomberg.
In his first official act as Governor, he signed his first executive order which will usher in a renewed era of transparency among state agencies.

but I wouldn't eliminate billionaires as a category. JFK and FDR were almost certainly the equivalent of billionaires in their day and they weren't too bad.

16. I agree with her.

Billionaires tend to care a lot more about making money for themselves than they care about other people. Yes, a small percentage of billionaires do eventually give some of their wealth back. However, I wish that they had just made sure that the workers got paid more and that they took home less.
