Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWhy does this forum involve so much Dem bashing?
I feel like I'm on reddit with all the bots and trolls out sowing division among Bernie vs. Warren or Progressives vs. Biden.
You're all just making Trump's re-election more likely with all this bickering over who said what to whom behind closed doors. Keep in mind, if Trump wins again, America will be a dictatorship. You and your family will lose your health insurance unless you have private, non-ACA coverage. The environment will be beyond recovery. Our diplomacy will be permanently destroyed. Our economy will hit a recession. More children will be abused in cages.
Can we stop with all the bickering?

(11,518 posts)I'm sure it'll get worse as the primary season moves on, nothing new. I'm also convinced there are some trolls feeding the fire hoping to divide us.
I certainly wish we could be more civil and stick to discussing issues, but that obviously won't happen. In any case I'm confident that once it all settles out everyone will support our nominee. ANYONE BUT TRUMP !!!!!

(2,596 posts)Some very thoughtful, intelligent people who really knew the history, the people, behind the issues left and haven't been back. The response here is often a snide mockery because a different website hasn't caught on to the level this one has.

(31,261 posts)I donate to Warren and Biden. Some would call that nonsensical, and I would firmly disagree. I am comfortable with either person winning the nomination. I am less comfortable with others, but would support them fully in the General if they win the nomination.

(1,606 posts)This is TRUMP'S AMERICA!
Our mean-spirited, pugilistic, and narcissistic tendencies must be on full display!
We must be combative at every twist and turn!
OUR individual perspective and view of or on anything is the ONLY "real" thing, and everything else is FAKE.
Get with it, snowflake!

(47,399 posts)And it has been much, much worse in previous elections. This is pretty tame and the majority of people so far have been relatively civil.
It could be more civil and some of the attacks have been petty or in some cases not true. That said, it is usually best to avoid posts that appear to be inflammatory and don't let people push your buttons.

In the end, vote for the Dem nominee.

(5,643 posts)The very place to make your case for the nominee. Should be lots of bickering because it was a big field that needed narrowing.
I will continue to point out that Bernie is not a registered Democrat and does not deserve the D nomination until I am blue in the face or kicked off DU.
