Bloomberg does well too, but all others are either barely winning, tied, or losing.

(4,533 posts)I think they love Trump because he promised to build a wall to keep the darkies out. But for some they will ignore $50,000 windfall from no student loan? Or more?

(180 posts)Cause Bernie would bring a lot of left wing activists from LA, SF, NYC, Portland, Seattle, and Boston to the polls. The problem is that it wouldn't do a thing to win an election. Biden would do better in the EC as he could get more black voters in urban areas like Charlotte, Jacksonville, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee. This is how you win an election.

(22,911 posts)The media constantly underplays the broad base of support he is capable of stitching together in the General Election. This year solid Democratic voters will be loyal to the Democratic candidate, be it Biden or Bloomberg, or Warren or Sanders, because solid Democratic voters will do whatever is needed to get Trump out of office.
That means the overwhelming majority of Democratic Sanders supporters would vote for billionaire Bloomberg if need be and the overwhelming majority of Democratic moderates would vote for Sanders if need be. The difference is who can bring in the most not solidly Democratic votes. There is polling that indicates that person may be Sanders, especially when one figures in the fact that a Sanders candidacy is most likely to bring out young voters who are more difficult to motivate to show up at the polls..

(3,675 posts)I am in the thick of it and I am in awe! Everytime one of these establishment Democrats attacks Bernie it only BUILDS his movement and cements his anti corrupt establishment street cred.. The identical situation happened last election with the republicans, the more the establishment republicans went after Trump, the more he gained in popularity. I don't get how these overpaid consultants for the democrats in DC don't see this. Maybe they do but figure they can bluff the populace with bullshit because the last thing these money grubbers want is Bernie to get elected and shut down their grift!
