I don't hate women candidates. Just this one. And this one. And this one ...

I DON’T HATE WOMEN CANDIDATES — I JUST HATED HILLARY AND COINCIDENTALLY I’M STARTING TO HATE ELIZABETH WARREN

I have no problem with women. My wife is a woman and I have daughters who will likely be wives and mothers of daughters one day. I only had a problem with Hillary Clinton, and my problem with her is completely separated from her gender, and is solely based on the fact that she was so dishonest when compared to other prominent politicians who ran for president. How could anyone vote for such a liar?...

So I’m a perfectly reasonable, women-friendly fellow who is completely open to the idea of a woman president. And I never thought I’d hate anyone as much as I hate Hillary Clinton. But to my surprise, I’m actually starting to hate Elizabeth Warren.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve heard that Elizabeth Warren is a champion of consumers and the middle class who battled the big banks and advocates for economic reform. Nonetheless, she rubs me the wrong way.

That is indeed how it goes.

ETA: This is my favorite part...just because it really encapsulates how it goes, over and over.

So bring it on, ladies! I’d love to see a female President. Just not Hillary Clinton. Or Elizabeth Warren. I am totally open to all other women leaders, but I have to admit that Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar are beginning to make me angry and I’m not sure why yet, but I know the reason will become clear soon, and I’m also wondering what they might look like if someone photoshopped their heads onto the bodies of prisoners and put them behind bars.

as part of its Suffolk poll coverage which shows Warren tanking with men. He switched from Warren to Sanders. Why? Because Warren plans to give away too much free stuff.

Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the views being parodied.

absolutely spot on! I heard it SOOOO many times in 2016 and we're seeing it in action again in 2020. Over and over again.

Please let us make them eat those words.

The only way a woman will NOT win is if we do not vote for her. So the problem is NOT with the woman candidate, but with the kind of voter, who will - for whatever stated rationale - ALWAYS support a man, especially a white man, of whatever age, over a woman.

And if we who are women allow that particular mindset to stand, we will NEVER have a woman President, no matter how much more qualified, personable and "likeable" she is than the male who is the "chosen one."*

And that's the truth.

************
*By no means do I consider Trump to be the "chosen one" in any respect whatsoever.

They're great with satire and this absolutely echoes what we've all heard and sensed about how women candidates are judged--they're shrill, they cackle, they sound like a schoolmarm, etc., etc., etc. It goes on and on. Hillary is a crook and Elizabeth is too strident and yada, yada, yada.

Written out, however, exposes how flimsy, how downright stupid this reasoning/unreasoning sounds:

I don't hate women but . . .

Sad but true. The beat goes on.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
