The GE poll results show the most accurate info for Biden vs Trump, because of GOP attacks on him.

Trump and the GOP have already spent millions of dollars attacking Biden.

Trump's abused presidential power and been impeached to attack Biden.

Biden still does better against Trump than any other Democratic candidate, except in a few outlier polls (I remember one showig Buttigieg doing best against Trump).

Trump and the Republicans have, for the most part, been holding their fire against our other candidates, because they fear Biden the most.

And because of this, our candidates -- except for Biden -- are esstentially untested against Trump.

We have no real idea how well Sanders will poll against Trump, after months of negative ads and other attacks on Sanders by Trump and the GOP, highlighting both how extreme Sanders' statements and positions have been in the past, and how critical he's been of the Democratic Party.

We DO know that Biden can stand up to the onslaught, and still do better than Trump in most GE polls.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

herding Democrats in their point of view because they control the polling systems. Seems like every single day there is a poll. But t-rump stays constant which personally I don't buy.

Pollsters compete, and they disagree. But the information they provide, while not perfect, is much better than no information at all.

As for Trump's support -- we'd be very foolish to underestimate it.

repubs have a ton of info on Sanders that they will unload if he gets the nomination. They will define him loud and clear. I wish folks would focus on who is the best to run in November,

That is the real question that needs to be asked.

They know that attacking a candidate will help them in the Nomination. You don't pick your opponent by attacking them. If you want to hurt your most feared opponent in the general, by agreeing with them in the nomination against a rival.

Quite frankly all the national head to head against Trump seem to be showing is that the higher your name ID is the better you are doing. When you look at Trump's Numbers they really are rock steady. Biden may eat 1% into his number and only may.

the attacks on Biden.

They're not spending millions of dollars on ads attacking Biden just to try to help him slightly in primary polling -- when he's been leading in most polls for a year -- because they're really more afraid of another candidate and want Dems to choose Biden instead.

against the most qualified, experienced, and prepared candidate, but more so one with wide appeal, appeal to the heart. In Biden’s case, Trump will be running against character, temperament, fortitude, and proven leadership, not only a set of policies. Biden’s expertise in
world affairs alone is intimidating.

As with the media, many progressives underestimate the esteem Biden is held in, the significance of his support from our base, and his stature overall as a political figure, here and abroad. Trump’s campaign strategists, however, assessed the Biden threat well before he announced. They know the EC map and understand how a candidate like Biden, almost universally seen as a unifier, and with an ability to touch and reassure Americans across the political and demographic spectrum could put together the coalitions to beat Trump, weakening him by mere contrast in character.

Finally, Biden shows an optimism for America’s future that, like his resume, is unmatched by his rivals. People want to see improvements in many areas, but they also want hope that these can be possible, that America can recover from Trumpian hell and reclaim its respected role in the world. Biden’s faith motivates his personal life and it lights up his long-held dedication to America and Americans. That secret ingredient, faith, is difficult to beat.

When the Ukraine thing started it was as much about Obama and Clinton as it was about Biden. Yes it would hurt a potential rival, like Pocahontas. But that was more of a side benefit at the time. Crowdstrike

Oh course they are attacking Biden, The Trump Brand requires them to attack somebody, So attack the leader. But they really aren't spending all that much money on it. Mainly keeping the wheels greased.
