I can't even come up with words to describe what a great person he is and what he's doing for the country.

He is too valuable to Congress. I can’t think of anyone else who could have co ducted such a focused investigation and give such a clear, concise, coherent presentation.

But Schiff is certainly viable in the future.

Preferably after Biden in 2020, and Amy wins in 2024 and 2028.

sworn in on January 20 2021. Biden has a 43 % chance right now according to 538 to win the nomination...double anyone else's chance. I believe Biden will be the nominee by Super Tuesday.

6. No real reason to even entertain conjecture it would happen.

Well, no more and no less reason than to entertain the possibility a zombie apocalypse will hit after a freak monkey-accident next Wednesday at the CDC (and I get it... there are most likely a number of burn-outs and hipsters preparing for that very scenario as I type).

Though I'm given to understand it makes for entertaining binge-watching on the weekends, there's little else of any real relevance to it.

15. I think a brokered convention would probably destroy the party
Wed Jan 22, 2020, 05:25 PM

Surely you could see how that could become a powder keg for many competing ideologies. And since there can be only one nominee, somebody is going away unhappy. VERY unhappy. So that’s why. It would be a shit show of toxic divisions and divisiveness.

20. Correct

If one person has 40% of the delegates, that person is the nominee.

If you have a brokered convention, you could have 3 people with 18% “team up” to try to get nominated. When none of them are the choice of the party.

It would scream of a stolen election and utterly divide the party.

Whomever has the most pledged delegates won during the campaign MUST be the nominee. No brokered convention.
