The Onion: Rogan Endorsement Sends Dangerous Message He's Trying To Win Election

“It’s very unnerving to see a Democratic candidate like Bernie Sanders try to court voters from varying constituencies and demographics. It’s like his whole strategy is beating Trump. We saw hints of this in 2016, but I’m truly sickened to see it rearing its ugly head again."

Bernie fans / progressives are the same people who accuse other dems of being centrists, or worse republican/right-wing lite. AOC saying the party is too big a tent last week in a dig at Joe Biden, saying this week the party is a center-conservative party, but now her candidate for president is actually embracing a guy for the sake of reaching out to his right-wing fans.

They do accuse folks of abandoning their principles for monetary purposes and sacrificing the interests of their constituency. This is not that. No campaign platform is changing because of this endorsement.

Persuading them to vote for Democrats can be as simple as showing them we will represent their interests. Rogan's assistance to that end can help create a new class of swing voters in November.

"We saw hints of this in 2016, but I’m truly sickened to see it rearing its ugly head again. I’m all for creating a Democratic majority, but not if we have to accept more people than the other side has.” Griffin added that it was even more disturbing that Sanders would attempt this during an election year.
