and meddle in the affairs of nations overtly and covertly. Our infrastructure is deteriorating due to financial, military demands. The social programs designed to help our citizens are under constant pressure and leaking badly. 40% of our citizens are on the edge of ruin at any given time while there are pockets of first-world poverty dotting many of our states. Historically, these are the symptoms of an overstretched empire. If a candidate shows little interest in solving these challenges in his speeches what is the conclusion? It's just one of the reasons, FBI lying was also a huge factor along with Russian hacking. But it is one of the reasons and worse it looks like nothing has changed and lots of his supporters will again stab us in the back. This isn't about Democrats who support him, then switch to someone else wholeheartedly when he loses, it's about the sour grapers who would destroy our nation for the sin of not electing their guy.

is that this is a form of sabotage on the opponent's campaign. As EVERYONE knows this is crunch time for all the campaigns, and in particular every single campaign office in IA. Everything and every able body is in high gear as they sprint for the finish line. What then is the effect of robbing that campaign and its workers of a half a days time .. as they're forced to deal with police and protesters and charges?

Now you can call that a simple peaceful protest .. or, given the time frame, you could call that dirty pool.

They clearly don't understand how government works. These protesters are under the mistaken impression that by sheer determination, optimism and willpower... things will just magically happen exactly as they want them to be. Well, fortunately the wiser and mature voters (the adults in the room) understand that you don't always get what you want and that you have to compromise and find common ground. We also understand that it's better to compromise and walk away with some incremental progress, because after all: progress is still progress no matter how small. We don't think so highly of ourselves (ie: pride and vanity) that we fool ourselves into thinking that "holding firm" and maintaining a "no compromise" attitude...while walking away with NOTHING...is something to strive for. That's not working for progress. That's giving up. That's quitting. The candidate who earns my support will be one with the intelligence and maturity and integrity to understand such basic concepts. The candidate that I choose will not be one to offer fantasy-land pie-in-the-sky unicorns-lollipops-and-rainbows... demanding "all or nothing"... and who's foolishly willing to leave the table if he (or she) can't get his (or her) way.

.... expressed for these chumps is the exact same enthusiasm Trump supporters receive when they champion lies about Democrats. The Social Security crap about Joe Biden is a bald-faced lie, and there is absolutely no honorable defense for it. Bernie Sanders supporters know it is a lie, yet they choose to repeat it and accept it as fact. In other words, even though it is a bald-faced lie, you have to admire the enthusiasm, and that makes Bernie Sanders the best candidate?

Wed Jan 29, 2020, 02:31 PM

sanders sent one very weak text the Sunday night before the convention and then did little or nothing to control his delegates. It was nasty I was there when the sanders delegates booed Congressman John Lewis. I was warned about this stunt 30 minutes before it happened by the Clinton campaign whip. According to my whip, sanders was asked to stop this event and declined. That incident will be used against sanders if he runs in 2020.

I was at the Texas delegation breakfast when a group of sanders delegates marched in and demanded that we condemn Clinton and change our votes to sanders.

sanders spoke to the Texas delegation the next morning and his speech was again solely about himself. There was a mini-riot due to his delegates the prior morning and the only thing that sanders talked about was himself. sanders did nothing to deal with the fact that his delegates were out of control and did nothing to try to help Hillary Clinton win the general election.

Finally a group of sanders delegates yelled at my daughter and called her the c-Word because she would not try to get me to change my vote. Again sanders was asked to tell his delegates to behave during the convention and sanders refused

That conduct was wrong

And then she declared that she was "with her."

"I am here tonight because in this election, there is only one person who I trust with [the responsibility of the presidency,]" she said. "Only one person who I believe is truly qualified to be president of the United States. And that is our friend, Hillary Clinton."

Obama was not immune from boos. Sanders supporters booed and began chanting "Bernie! Bernie!" as Obama endorsed Clinton.

Obama seemed to acknowledge them, saying that when Hillary Clinton lost against her husband in 2008, she didn't get "angry or disillusioned."

"Hillary did not pack up and go home, because as a true public servant, Hillary knows this is so much bigger than her own desires and disappointments."

Same with the “immigrants rights” protest against Biden. I believe Russia is stirring up this shit. Why wouldn’t these immigrant rights protests be directed at trump and gop?Of corse they are mischief making in Iowa. They don’t have to be in the “protests” they are just using social media to seed the idea and then feed it. All road lead to Russia, if Bernie is the nominee Putin gets those sanctions lifted at last. That is the end game. Putin and his crew stand to earn billions.
