New IBD/TIPP national poll (A/B rated)

Joe Biden leads with 26% support in the February IBD/TIPP Poll, followed by Bernie Sanders at 19% and Elizabeth Warren at 13%. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, with 8% support, has pulled into fourth place, ahead of South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, backed by 7%.
Andrew Yang (4%), Amy Klobuchar (3%) and Tom Steyer (2%) are the only other candidates polling above 1%.

registers support for Bernie that is most often around 5% less than his RCP national average ...Which indicates Bernie's actual national support is around 24% …

Can't wait to hear how 538 is part of the conspiracy to undermine Bernie... which, I guess, makes their actual ratings about 5% lower than what they report.

538 states that when they don't assign a definitive rating it's because the pollster does not have an established track record with them. So they assign provisional ratings in the form "A/B" or "B/C', as examples.

To mangle Mark Twain, it is better to be provisional and be thought a hack than establish an inferior record and remove all doubt.

Time will tell.

That pollster could be right, or it could crash and burn.

538 was not confident to assign a definitive rating, and for good reasons, I am sure.
