In my city it's the council that decides on such things.

At the same time, Buttigiegs administration awarded numerous lucrative contracts to past campaign donors and to corporations whose lobbyists and executives had given to Buttigiegs mayoral election efforts.

In 2014, Buttigiegs office proposed cutting the hours for the citys Diversity Compliance Officer position from 32 hours a week to 18 hours per week.
