Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSanders spent more than twice as much as Biden in the last three months of 2019.
And despite that, Biden's still the front-runner in almost all national polls, and in some Iowa polls.

Btw, according to Politico, Sanders has spent more than any other candidate on TV ads in Iowa in the last couple of weeks.

Note: that's just the last two weeks. If you go back farther, Steyer has outspent the other candidates on Iowa advertising.
But Sanders ads are blanketing Iowa now and possibly pushing out advertising by other candidates.
And they're apparently vanilla ads, omitting any talk of "revolution":
Any undecided voters who aren't very familiar with Sanders' record who caucus for him because he sounds like a typical Democratic candidate in favor of progressive taxation and social justice -- which all our candidates favor -- may be in for a rude awakening if Sanders gets the nomination and the GOP unloads on Sanders' more extreme statements and positions over the years.

(13,033 posts)Now hes basically tied.
So I guess something did indeed happen.
I live in NH. The primary is in 10 days. As far as I can tell from my anecdotal lawn sign observations Biden has zero presence here. Four candidates have their signs out: Buttigieg, Gabbard, Sanders and Warren.
Im sure Biden will be in the top 5, but apparently nobody supporting him cares enough to put a sign on their lawn.
